You eat a lot because you want to force your muscles to recover and grow. But to optimise your body’s use of that food to allow it to feed your muscle – you need to digest it properly. The pineapple is an excellent source of vitamins C & B1 and is a massively effective digestive aid. The fruit is rich in powerful enzymes that break down protein (proteolytic enzyme bromelain) and is therefore hugely useful in digesting stubborn food like meat and hard cheese.

So incorporate pineapple regularly in your diet – you’ll see the difference in muscle growth and general “dietary” comfort.
